     Activities and events during September...

  • MUSIC ON MAIN    Friday September 2nd   6:00-9:00 Music by Big Night Out, Latin and top 40.  Proceeds benefitting Chargers Soccer Club.  
  • CHARGERS SOCCER CLUB 2016 LABOR DAY SHOWCASE. Sept 2nd thru 5thPremier Sports Campus.  More than 260 teams and approx. 15,000 visitors expected to attend the long weekend soccer event.  Both boys and girls U11 thru U19 teams from across the US will be competing.  The public is welcome to attend and both the Event and parking are free.
  • CLASSIC CAR SHOW  on Main Street,  5:00 Wednesday September 7th 
  • ANCIENT OAK GUN CLUB Upcoming events:  September 11th NSCA shoot “September Slam” and September 24th NSCA shoot “Crying Towel”. Set in a pristine area off of State Road 64 East. There are 28 covered shooting stations, three of which are elevated; on two separate courses, operated by a wireless, radio controlled launching system that also offers a delay for the individual shooter and a 5-stand for shotgun shooting enthusiasts. There are four towers to throw targets from above. Open to the public.
  • HEALTH AND WELLNESS EXPO.  September 24th 10:00 to 1:00 Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.  More than 70 exhibitors, a farmers market, free glucose and blood pressure checks, posture, spinal, hearing and eye checks. Free samples and learning kits.
